OMV provides access to the day ahead market and intraday markets through bilateral agreements to power plants that generate electricity. Power plants can sell at higher prices in commercial terms, and increase their sales revenues by optimizing their imbalances, considering their technical and design parameters.
OMV can also enter into long-term electric power purchase agreements with Power Plant Management Services (origination). In this way, companies whose main business is not electricity generation can reduce their financial, operational, and commercial risks.
